RHODE ISLAND ADVOCACY FOR CHILDREN

What Is An Advocate?

  • Advocate comes from the Latin words "another" and "voice"

  • Special Education Advocates are there to be another voice for your child

  • Advocates verbally promote the idea that all children deserve happiness, an education, and functional living

  • Advocates are there to assist parents with dealing with the school district, IEPS, identify educational needs of a child, and develop an educational plan individualized for every child

  • If you have any other questions about what an advocate is or what we do, contact us.
